G2000 (Gas) Idle Speed too fast

Help! The idle speed on my G2000S is way too high...I would say 1100-1200rpm.
There are two adjustment screws on the top of the carb, but they seem to do nothing. Additionally, there is an adjustment on the Governor, but I do not have a service manual to know exactly what to adjust.

1. Any idea what the 2 adjustment screws are on top of the carb?
2. Any idea how to properly reduce the ideal speed?

Hi... while 1200rpm might seem a high idle speed, especially for a car engine, it is not high for a 1 or 2 cylinder small engine.
My Kubota TG1860G gas 2cylinder Kawasaki engine idles at about 1200rpm.
This machine did not come with a tach, but I added one:

I run it at about 3300rpm when mowing.

If you think your unit is idling too fast, I suspect it must be somewhat higher than 1200rpm.

The engine slow idle speed should be 1500-1800 RPM. Fast idle speed should be 3550 +/- 50.

Generally adjustment screws are for idle mixture and speed. Not knowin engine manufacturer and type of carb its difficult to guess at what your issue may be.
If screws go into carb body, one is idle mixture other is like a main jet for over all ranges.

I usually check the rocker arm where the cable ties into the carb. On some, they have an adjustment screw for low and max throttle. I usually don't mess with any that go into the carb. That seems to me into trouble

Screw1: I assume it is the slow idle adjustment, however, the Governor seems to be overriding this as it does not let the engine idle low enough to for the linkage to rest against the adjustment screen

Screw2: I have no idea what Screw2 is used for.

Screw3: I assume it is the fuel mixture adjustment, however, no matter if this screw is 0-turns from bottom or 3 turns from bottom, the engine is runs the same.

Governor Adjust: I do not know how to properly adjust this.

The engine runs very well, however, the idle speed is too high. The Kubota G2000 has a 3cyl gas engine.

Screw 1 is the idle speed adjustment.

Screw 2 is an air bleed. Not adjustable.

Screw 3 is the idle mixture adjustment.

Any idea why the Governor doesn't let the idle linkage rest on the Idle Adjustment screw? (Governor is causing the engine to rev around 2K RPM with no load.)

I figured it out...the throttle cable was getting hung up on lever(dash) side.
