Hello,

My Father has a Kubota BX 2370 compact tractor. The unit had an issue with the fuel shut off not actuating when the ignition was switched off needing to manually activate the shut off solenoid to stop engine, Tested solenoid with power probe and worked as intended , No power to solenoid checked fuses and found #6 (10 A) was blower for timer relay to shut off solenoid ( replaced ) and now it will shut off with ignition but will not move without stalling. All of the safety switches pass through this circuit, I'm thinking its a intermittent relay issue as the fuse has not blown again. is there anyone who may have a Schematic for this circuit ?? or any insite ?

thank you Mark

There is a free WorkShop Manual download available at KubotaBooks. In the electrical section there is a schematic.

Before I got to Wolfman’s post I was thinking possibly seat switch also.

The tractor doesn’t sense someone in the seat and shuts down as soon as the travel pedal is moved.

Pretty easy to pull it out, test and jump temporarily to check.

My switch testfine a while back, but had similar issues.

Turns out switch got a little displaced in the pocket in the seat cushion and wouldn’t close. I’m a pretty good size guy.

A cardboard spacer cut to size fixed it.

If I get a chance I’ll try to find the thread and link it here. Quick and easy thing to rule out.

PS - - follow up to my previous post.

My issues were similar, and fix was simple. Hope it's of some help.

I think your seat switch may be a little different design, but probably a similar principle to test, etc.

An illustrated parts diagram will probably be helpful in any event. Safety Switches are in the Electrical section.
