I never win lotteries. I never win prizes. I always buy at the top of the market.
I refilled my aviation gasoline tanks three weeks ago because I was fearful supplies might get sketchy if the Kung Flu lasts long. They dropped the price from $4.10/gal to $2.75 the next week. :(
My diesel storage tank went empty last week so I filled it before the weekend. My home propane tank blew away with an underground leak I had to repair, so it’ll have to be completely re-filled...and that’ll be 400 gals since it’s a 500 gal tank.
I haven’t got the invoice yet, but I suspect Pinnacle Propane (who delivers to my house and to whom I go when I fill up my diesel storage tank) will not lower their prices to reflect current conditions until AFTER I get that invoice!

First off....never feel sorry for someone who owns their own plane.....I hope to join that club someday......

Do a cost benefit.....see if you can buy another 100LL tank and top it off...depending on how much flying you do...might be worth the "investment" in these low fuel times (Unless you need Jet A....then I really really wont feel sorry for you. :p) Then when the market over saturates again..you've got two tanks to fill. I've thought about buying an extra tank of either diesel of propane right now. I don't use enough diesel right now....to justify it.

I'm close to hauling my 300 gallon bulk tank into town to get another load of E-0 premium mogas for my Rotax 912 powered plane. The last price I saw 2 days ago, was $2.12! I may wait until it goes under 2 bucks.... At 3.5 GPH that's a fair bit of flying.

I filled a 55 gallon drum of off road diesel a week ago, for $1.89 per, probably cheaper now but I needed it then.

I am the opposite. Will wait until normal prices return before hitting the buy button. To smart to dollar cost average. Gas ,propane, and diesel should be able to hit 2 for 3 on the highest price this summer.

I have a 200 gallon bulk tank that's just about empty. 200 gallons will almost last me one year. I also have a 300 gallon tank that needs cleaning before putting back into service. It's awful tempting to get that done and have both filled in the next month or two. A local bulk dealer will swing in with his truck and deliver usually within a week of being called. Sure beats operating out of 5 gallon containers!

Off road diesel is $1.29 a gallon here. I've got 300 gallons ordered.

I went into town today and to the gravel yard there to get 3 ton of road ballast, and as long as I was down off the mountain with the 1 ton, got a partial load of E-0 fuel for the plane, 150 gallons. Grossed out at 17 K, I didn't really want the extra weight of the fuel but I never drive the 1 ton into town (40 mile round trip and a fair bit of vertical) without makeing it earn its keep! The rest of the time I drive my plug in Prius and it's hard, even at these prices lately, to go from 60 mpg to 15! Paid $2.12 for premium E-0, a great price for this part of the country, always one of the highest. Unlike you LA and TX guys....

Diesel here is down from $3 to $1.95 and 87 octane is down from 2.89 to 2.04. It was at 1.80 last week but Ohio likes to increase fuel prices every Wednesday by .20 to .30 in my area so it is high for the weekend travelers. Propane, not sure as I am still on my prebuy for last winter. That comes up in late May for renewal.

What a rip on the 87. North Central IN here, paid $1.06 a gallon on Wednesday (15 miles east of where I live, while the town I work in was still at $ 1.89).
