Fuel on angles

The stick-o-meter is always accurate and if it breaks, it’s a pretty easy fix so long as it doesn’t end up lost in the tank.

I have gotten a little spoiled with a real gauge on the Kubota.

We had a piece of redwood cedar floating in both tanks, as I recall.

curious was I, went to kubparts and it makes perfect sense ! 2 tanks, left and right but only fed from the right tank, so get it higher than the lef, it'll drain into the left tank and NO fuel to the engine.
very 'silly' design..sure glad small planes ain't plumbed that way !!!

I've had some motorcycles like that. On one I plumbed a crossover pipe at the bottom to extend cruising range (also making it a PITA to remove the tank since it straddles the frame). One night I helped a guy that was "out of gas" by almost laying his bike on the left side to slosh enough fuel over to (hopefully) get him to the next exit.

Better than the stick-o-meter we used on the old 8N or the Cub Farm-all.

I just realized, when I sold my JD in the fall I forgot to give the guy the fuel gauge that was hanging on the wall next to it. Guess he'll have to make his own.

Use the rudder properly and it’d be no problem.

I missed the fact your in Canada, the diagrams for the U.S. version appear to have one tank.

I think it's one tank that goes across but I didn't look close. Almost looks like the biggest part of the tank is on the left and pickup on the right.

Fun side note is this takes DEF fluid but it uses almost none.... like 78 hours and I used 1/4 tank of DEF. I'd say 4 tablespoon of DEF per like 1 tank of fuel. DEFinatly can't complain about that.
