Noticed fuel leak. Just need to know how to fix it, is there a gasket or something. I tried to tighten the 2 nuts. But it still leaks.

I am having a fuel leak in the same exact spot, however I changed the gasket and it still leaks.. the injector has a loose fit any ideas? my next plan was to buy a new injector assembly.. but I'm worried it may be the head itself

JerameP82, I'd be interested if you ever found out your problem?

I am having a leak from the same spot and have NOT yet replaced the packing there. I am going to and figured that would take take care of my leak but I came across this post and saw you still had a leak after replacing the packing.

Does anybody else know what the other causes for there still to be a leak if the packing was replaced?

Thanks.

Sorry you guys have this problem. I have it also. I changed the packing or copper crush washers and it still sprays fuel out. One theory was perhaps I cracked the Injectors. $250 to do both is a little pricy to do on something that may not work?? No one seems to know the correct torque for the injector hold down bolts? If either of you Gentleman find a solution Please let me know? I will do the same!:)
