I have a 2015 ZG123S Zero Turn that seems to be starving for fuel. It run fine with out the mower engaged, but when you kick it in, it runs ok for a few minute then starts cutting out. I have changed the fuel filter, pump and air filter. Cleaned the carb and added fuel treatment. Still no improvement. looking for any advice. I had been mowing about an hour and a half when it started doing this initially. Hasn't ran right since

My neighbor had similar symptoms with a Briggs 25hp engine. Notably it would stall out under load, and surge when sitting still at a high idle. My ah-ha moment was when we sprayed a carb cleaning spray directly into the carb and it didn't smoke at all (or change the engine sound at all). When he took apart the carb he found a small piece of plastic in the carb (apparently shavings from the gas tank). Once removed it ran normal.
Some of the newer gas engines have thermistor controlled chokes that may also need looking into. Good luck.... Fuel issues can be a real drag.

Have you changed the fuel? Modern gas ,especially with higher ethonol percentages is crap and deteriorates quickly, causing many running issues with small engines. Not much good after as little as a few weeks

I bet $1 you have something plugging the intake in the tank. Look for a thread I JUST started (after the moderators bless it for posting).
