Front wheel drive lever

Have a LA853, the handle to engage the front wheel drive sheered just behind the floor. I am trying to remove the entire assembly so I can weld it. I have removed the pin spring but it won’t slide off. Have tried bp blaster to loosen it, but still won’t budge

It would appear to me that you provided a model number for the kubota loader only (LA853). What is the tractor model number? It should be located on the side of the hood.

If it is threads or a rusted pin you are trying to loosen, PB Blaster is not the best!
You should use "Kroil", and apply to the threads/pin several times each day, for several days.
Kroil works like magic to free rusted threads/pins!
Also: If you can access it easily, try sharp tapping on the side of the pin with a hammer, after applying Kroil.

Heat is your friend in this case. Prying and hammering my just break off the lever from the shaft. If you do use heat be prepared to replace the o-rings #020 behind #030.

It looks like you need to remove 030 and 040 then the lever should come out
No, they are just the holder for the seal, and seals for the shaft that is coming out.
They don't hold the shaft in.

You can NOT use heat besides the O-rings you have hydraulic fluid and aluminum, all of which will react adversely to heat.

Inspect the pin hole closely as sometimes they use 2 spring pins , one inside the other to lock them.
If the hole is clear, then using a pipe wrench (I use a basin wrench) or vice grips (not as good), gently rotate, the other end is a fork you do not want to break. if it doesn't rotate easily, use a grinder to cut the sleeve off the shaft.

One other option, which I don't like, but if your quick you can tack weld the lever back on on the shaft, put a wet rag up against the case when you do it.
