I installed the K connect on a friends BX23S, and it went together quite easilyy in a couple of hours. I found it for him on Craigslist last winter for $2500 US, with the snowblower and the hydraulic chute rotation. Being used, he spent about $175 on a new pair of skids, and a new cutting edge and bolts. The salesman printed out a "quote" for a new blower, K connect, and chute rotator, and it was about $4600 if new. I would wait till spring or early fall, and start searching the dealerships to see what they might have used. You can also use the old style of snowblower attachement that goes back to 2004 (?), like I have on my old BX22. The only thing that you need to do is remove the grille guard first to install the hitch. I have seen a few of those on the used market. Just make sure that the hitch has the set up for the PTO shaft to connect the snowblower to the tractor.
Getting back to my viewpoint on the K connect, I found it very easy to attach the snowblower when I installed it for him this past fall. What is easy for one person, might be difficult for another. Messicks has a good video on the K connect system, and Neil gives a few suggestions how to hook up quickly. Once you know all the tricks to the system, it sure makes it a lot easier than the old method of aligning the male and female rectangular shafts. To make that easier, I put a notch one each one so it is quicker to match the 2 notches, than to make sure that the 2 rectangles were matched.
