So I have been enjoying my BX for few weeks now and really like that think, except the rough ride, but that shows me how uneven my yard is.
Anyways, last weekend I took the front loader off and the pivot points between the loader and tractor frame are dry and a bit rusty. Based on the design that's normal I would say, but my question is, do you guys put some light smear of grease in there? Or would it make it worst attracting dirt and grime?
So what's the common practice, dry or light grease film?

Same thing on my L3800, I put a little grease on it, good to go now.

I too keep mine dry, grease would just attract dirt and increase wear. ;)

Thanks guys. Looked at it some more and you are right, not a pivot point, only when installing or removing a bucket, which causes minimal wear.
Will keep it dry. :)
