I have intermittent problem with the front bucket lifting up and down. The tilt seems to work and I can put it into float. If I move the lever around it will start working.
Off Topic: When I purchased the tractor in 07 I bent the top of the bucket. I straightened it out and welded a piece of angle iron across the top with two hooks and painted it orange. I'm a landscaper and use the tractor daily and have never had a problem with the bucket bending. They should beef up the bucket at the factory.
Thanks for the help!

Sounds like you might need to rebuild the valve, could have some trash in it, or it could be as simple a something loose on the linkage to the valve, check that first.
A loose bolt or pin can have a great effect on the workings of it. ;)

The buckets are cheesy for several reasons. One major reason, if they are made of a thin material, they are "light weight". This allows the loader's lifting capacity to be higher on paper, similar to the new F series pickup trucks having an aluminum body, which makes the towing capacity "higher"-on paper anyway. This is a selling point when comparing to others, same as Kubota.

Some tractors had the option of a heavy duty loader, or even a heavy duty bucket. The one that generally comes on them is usually the smaller, lighter loader to keep the cost down. I am not sure the B7800 had a bigger heavier loader option. Some of the L series could be fitted with the lighter LA724, or the heavier LA854. Then there were several buckets available, the general purpose square back bucket or the heavy duty round back bucket which weighed a ton compared to the "light material general use" bucket.

Check your 3 point hitch lift lever to see if it's all the way rearward (full up position). If it is, try moving it forward (downward) a little to see if that helps your loader's function. Just a shot in the dark. If that does make a difference, then the feedback is out of adjustment.
