Found my hydraulic leak. now what

Found the fluid dropping from this nut. I assume it just needs to be tightened but I have no idea how I can get in there. Any suggestions and is it really that simple? Had a leak since day one but was told it could be normal so I think they blew me off.

Is the tractor still under warranty? If so tell them to fix it. A $20k plus tractor should not leak. Can you haul it to the dealer? If not check with a local towing company for rates. It might be cheaper then having the dealer move it. Other wise you need to decide if it is worth the effort to pull the tractor apart to get to the fitting.

Point taken, it is still under warranty. Not something I want to take a part but if it was something I could easily get to, I don't mind. Thanks for the response.

On my way to a job site for work today I stopped by the dealer to show them pictures. They sent their service guy to my house a couple hours later. All fixed. More than pleased.

I wonder if “gutch” is a real person and if we’ve simply been hacked and he made all this up.
