I just bought a B7200HST Today that has had very little Maintenance. I plan to bring it to life( hopefully). It has several issues. One it that when you press the pedal in the forward position it sticks. You either have to pull it back with your toes or put it in reverse. Any thoughts..... I climed under it and saw that there is a piston of some sort. My only thought is that the piston is wore out.

Thanks

Oh crap! I remember dusty giving info on that very same issue a while back about that piston. But for the life of me I don't remember what he said....damn it!

OK I read the link you posted Traildust. It sounds like my Controls are different. There are no adjustments that I can see. All I can see is the rocker arm that goes down to a piston,shock,spring... thing.

Thanks

Hi Berry. The linkage is inside the frame. Pull the top cover off of you hydrostat unit. It is right below your knees when you are sitting on the tractor. They are hard to get to but may just need some wd40.:D Dusty

I replaced the dampener and after all was said and done I don't think I had too. Spend some time on that linkage. And there is a spring tensioner down inside. I made mine so that I could adjust the tension on that spring the tighter it is the faster the pedal comes back to centre. There is also a nasty adjuster for adjusting neutral on the right hand bottom of the hydrostat.:D Dusty
