I think it was a Duc that I towed into the next town with my KLR a couple of years ago. The fellow had stopped for a piss off the highway and the wind blew the bike over landing on the spark plug of a horizontal piston. Poor guy had just bought this bike brand new and was on his maiden mission. Wasn't real happy about getting towed by an old guy on a dirty KLR! Apparently you can't make much time into a Saskatchewn wind with on one cylinder firing.

Chuckle. My multistrada had an annoying habit of misfiring off idle. It happened to me leaving a stop sign with the handlebars turned to the right. Of course I dropped the bike in front of four Harley riders. They were quick to off their bikes, help me lift mine and never laughed. Nothing hurt but my pride.

True that Brother! My mid life crisis bike has been a dual sport bike that I have ridden to Alaska, Montana, BC and Alberta. I have been riding off-road and tenting for the most part.

My 3/4 life crisis is going to be a road king riding from cheap hotel to cheap hotel on the slab!

I am guessing I am at the 2/3rd point now.lol
