I was able the get a $100 deal on an antique cultivator and used truck bumper reciever tow hitches to attach it to my box blade. They are spring loaded so bounce over big roots and buried rocks that frequently break off box blade rippers.

Might have been better to fab up a three-point frame.
That is what I did on the first try. Used one of those 3 pt trailer movers. I only had parts of the old cultivator to use.
The box blade gives me a 5’ wide base rather than a 3’ base to build on. Plus the box blade has 6 rippers in play that initiated the cuts ahead of the cultivator spades. Our ground is rocky and can be tough on tools. A rototiller just bounces along and does little.

The box blade was not sacrificed. Pulling 4 pins and in 10 minutes you have your box blade back.

I have it the acid test yesterday. Put in 2 acres of food plot and had zero problems.
