The company seems to be math challenged. :D If the GAWR is 2250 lbs and weighs 530 lbs, then the capacity for the RAZR is only 1720 or 280 lbs less than they say. Unless I‘m math challenged. ;)
Yeah, it doesn't make numerical sense. Unless the axle is rated at 2250 and the trailer 2000.

The Rzr fits, with enuf room to upsize the tires on the Rzr an inch or so. Which I've been wanting to do!

Hooked to my Jeep truck, I drove it around the block a couple times. No issues.

Should be fine as long as you cross the safety chains. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Sorry, I could not resist. :)

One of the guys in our dune group used a trailer similar to that for 10+ years, hauling a golf cart, then a rhino, then a RZR, with no problems whatsoever.
But we don't have much problem with rust out here.
Thank you!

I asked around within my desert buddies and they basically said the same thing.

It's no heavy equipment trailer, but it is good for toys.

I would feel safer towing that trailer than my first golf cart trailer.
It was a 4'x8' single axle tilt bed, American made, rated for way more than either of my golf carts.
Tilt pivot was in the center of the trailer, and God help you if you got the load biased towards the rear.
Even if it was balanced exactly front and rear, that thing would hunt & fishtail all over the road.
It had to be loaded with load biased forward of the pivot. (tongue heavy)
I built a spare tire rack for it, mounted up front, and that helped a little.
It was easy to load, but never really trusted it.
Did not keep it for long.
It was like this one, but with smaller wheels, 13" if I remember right:

Honestly, the only thing I'd really be concerned with is the metal mesh deck. The hinge bolt shear strength is probably more than adequate. Looks like it fits far enough forward to put a decent load on the tongue.
FWIW, not too long ago I had one of those Hazard Freight folding trailers. It was supposed to be a stop-gap measure because I didnt figure it would last long. 10 years later, 2 sets of tires, one hub bearing and a pair of tail lights, I sold it to a kid for $500. I'm actually thinking of buying another one to tow behind the tractor for brush and log clean up.

sticker GVWR is 2000, trailer weighs 530, LEGAL 'payload' would be 2000-530 = 1470#
GAWR is just what the axle can carry NOT what you're allowed 'down the road'.

One 'cheat' the travel trailer guys have done for decades, is increased their GVWR by including the tongue amount. If they use an A-coupler rated for 700#, that is ADDED into the total 'GVWR' value. Typical full size pickup bumper ball is rated for 350#,frame hitch , 500#.
If you use a 3500# rated axle and 500 for the tongue, you get a legal 4000 GVWR. The problem lies in weight distribution though as you need 10-15% weight on the tongue. It's a 'numbers game'.

I'd still like to see the factory where those trailer are 'made in USA', the steel bending shops, the welding shops, the bigA powdercoat line, etc.

I had a snowbird friend and finally convinced him to buy one of those HF folding trailers. gave him something to do ASSEMBLING it, then hauled it full of 'yard sale finds'. He took his CDN trailer plate down, customs didn't say 'boo' to the stuff. Easy, one way haul, gave trailers to his children, 3-4 times he did this,

hmm, just what GOOD are those fenders on that trailer ? seems to me they will NOT deflect water ,let alone gravel from being tossed into whoever is following behind ???

Agreed. I checked it today and the fender can be rotated at what appears to be 45 degree imcrements. But it is too short. I"ll play with it and find some rubber sheet or kydex and add mudflaps. Just for fun.
