Anybody else seem to be inundated with fly's this last week or so, I mean big black fly's every where and i cant figure our where the hell they are coming from. I swat 2 or 3 and there seems to be 4 or 5 more to take their place. And yes the garbage is out, the cat box is clean, and I showered !

good news and bad news.....

good news:
Adults only live about 30 days...

Bad news:
in 30 days a single female lays over 3000 eggs...

not to get into the whole boring metamorphosis .......
but there are more coming... :devilish:

pretty much
egg/larva/pupa/adult

(larva is maggots)

so they are somewhere nearby.

Check your chimney, a dead bird or rodent in there will be a feeding/breeding place for thousands.

I tried something similar a few years ago ..... They work.
however...

They Stink to High Holy Hell.

-Just Sayin...
I accidentally bought the one on the right by error. I thought it was for yellow jackets. I hung it up about 3 days ago and it's near full of flies. I hung the second one yesterday.
Ingredients:
egg solids
sucrose
Yeast
Just add water and it's pretty ripe in about 3 hrs. Directions say to use outdoors or in a well ventilated area, lol.
