Hi all, I just wanted to show a small project. Since L series ( at least in EU) come with no mats, you end up with paint being brushed of pretty quickly. I cant get these mats here, and if were to get them from the USA, see how much they would cost me attached. Crazy. So I decided to make my own. DIY version cost me $10. I will post a few pics of how I did it so someone else might make their own too.

So, I bought simple cheap car mats, made some templates using paper tape and used scalpel to cut them. They fit perfectly and it is easy to make them again once they wear out.

nice job! Horse or livestock stall mats work great as starting material also - relatively cheap but harder to cut

Interesting. I didn`t know about that one. I might use it for the middle part - bump.
That was what I was going to do but after spraing the Hump I thought what the h--- and did the rest of that area.
Also it leaves it open so most of the dirt can fall out through the holes and not have to be sheveled out all the time.

Well done sir!

I like your ingenuity.

I have ‘store bought” mats, and I used "bed liner” material for my “hump”, although it was the “brush on” stuff from Wally World. (not sure if ya’ll have Walmarts there though ;) )
