How are the other members in the mid west doing with the flooding?

Here in arkansas we are crying uncle!!! We got 7 inches of rain Saturday night, and had road closures in the area for a while. Our street turned into a river. We have 3ft deep ditches, and the water was roaring 6" over the black top.

Bout 50 miles north of us, the river was flowing over levies. And the poor people of Pocahontas AR, where 7,000 people had to evacuate.

Here was the flooding in our area.

I have had 10.55 inches of ran from April 3, 2017 till May 3, 2017 (7:715 CDT). This is based on my rain gauge that I collect data from.

Not having any problems at the house, but they closed I-55 near Arnold, Mo. This is the highway that goes north/south and is causing some big problems. I can't get to work, I live south of the closure and have to go north of the closure to get to work.

I feel for anyone that has been flooded out, I hope everyone is okay.

I live in franklin co. lots of road closures due to flooding from the meramec river. Including I 44 which runs east and west. Glad I'm retired and don't have to deal with trying to navigate around all the closed roadways

You've received 10" in a month and some folks down there received that over the weekend!

Seems to be becoming more of the norm lately instead of the exception. My heart goes out to all those people as well as for the people going through the same here in Canada. Getting hard to deny that climate change is real.

It seems that you get flooding in the Mid West every few years or so. Some times worse that others.

I whish that you would send a little of it down to us as we have been in a draught for over a year now.
