When my loader is put in float position it is rather violent. It make a loud Thump as it goes into float. The old 770 was smooth as silk. Is this normal?
thanks

I have a 2610. It makes a pop at the joystick. Sounds like you are doing something wrong at first. Lol

if you are moving the loader around then pop it into float, it can get kinda jerky. For me, if I stop all movement then pop it into float, it’s pretty smooth except for the pop.

i hope this helps

Just make sure the bucket is not quite on the ground, but very close to it when you get ready to pop it into float. You have to go through the down motion to get to float. I'll agree that the loader valve could be a little less sensitive. Even with the extremely long stick on the LX2610, I still jerk it around pretty good when I haven't used the loader in a while and am out of practice. Takes a pretty soft touch.

Yes it's a rather stiff indent going in/out of float on this tractor. I'm used to it now, 650 hours later.
With the bucket or forks empty, I usually just hit float to set them down.
