I like the Summit ones on Amazon. They have different sizes (1/4, 3/8, 1/2 etc.) just like pioneer couplers and the overall size increases as you go up. Just make sure to get NPT threads.

I'm with je1279 and buy Summit brand on Amazon unless I'm buying larger ones for running high flow (30 gal / min) on my track loader, then I buy Stucci fittings.

I took my loader off 1 time. My flat face couplers weep. I will be switching them out with 1/4" pioneer couplers at some point.

For fittings, I use my local hydraulic shop or discount hydraulics online, they have good service.

@B737 do you have the swift-tach or individual flat faced couplers for your loader? I have flat faced couplers for my 3rd function and haven't had an issue with them and they are far less messy when swapping implements out.

my loader is swiftach which uses the flat face ones, and the 3rd function uses 3/8th pioneer couplers.

Yeah I think the swift-tach setup gives flat faced couplers a bad name but that's just my opinion and YMMV. When used individually, I really like them.

that's a good point, they dont spill or allow fluid to pool in them like pioneer style. The leaking flat face couplers may have more to do w the latching mechanism than the couplers.

I’ve had much better success with flat face couplers not leaking compared with pioneer couplers. I’m considering changing our my 3rd function connections out on my L3901 to flat face as I currently have a leak with one of the pioneer couplers.

The nearest Princess Auto to me is about 300 miles North of me, and presently, the border is closed. The prices look good, especially when you calculate in the exchange rate.

I have single lever hydraulic manifolds (flat faced couplers) on my L6060 and M9960.

Never a drop from either.

Interesting. I know many BX and B owners complain of leaking issues on theirs and dealerships do not seem to be able to fix them. Did you purchase and install generic MultiFasters for your tractors or were they offered through Kubota when you purchased them?

I hate to even suggest this, but I wonder if the ones for the BX and B series are "made for" Kubota by Faster (or possibly a different model of the MultiFaster connector) to meet a certain price point. I know when TTWT reviewed the new single point option for the Deere 1 series he mentioned that it felt much more substantial than the BX offering even though he credited Kubota for making it standard equipment earlier in the video.

I have seen many different quantities of flat faced couplers, and I am wondering if they are all the same as to shape and size, no matter what the brand. I realize that there could be manufacturing quality differences. Also, I haven't been able to find covers / dust caps for the female side of the couplers, and I would like to protect them from dirt contamination, even though I wipe them off before reconnecting. If possible, I would like to find them in colors to match up to the Kubota system. I can remember having to mark the hoses on my BX22, just to make sure that I hooked everything up correctly when I took the loader off and installed the snow blower. thanks

Flat faced couplers and swift disconnect on my 2017 BX23S. I remove my loader 1-2 times a week in mowing season and NO LEAKS!

The problem that I am finding is the flow rate of the couplers. I cant find the flow rate of the BX factory ones but Eaton have a flow rate of 4.5gpm, Summit has 6.3 gpm, Parker was only 3 gpm and Princess doesnt carry any 1/4" npt flat face With the BX have a flow rate of just over 6 gpm do all the couplers also need to be rated at 6 gpm or higher?
