Not sure what kind of cultivator planter thing I rescued today out of a old pond.

What is it?

Looks like a transplanter. With the exception of the cultivators, it looks similar to tobacco transplanters used back in the 70s - 80s. Is tobacco raised in that area?

Not in this area but it was moved years ago from the families farm before the old man got sick.

Looks like most of the guts of an old single row tobacco planter (which is a transplanter). Have also seen people use them for strawberries.

Got some more information on it. Finally found the manufacturer sticker. Best guess it's a Covington TP46 single row planter with cultivator.

It was on the edge with a Ford bottom plow under some old trees. Pulled (rescued) both for the owner.
