I've searched but have been unable to find a definitive answer.(Maybe 2014?) I'm specifically interested in tractors in the 26-55 hp range. Thanks in advance.

The Tier IV standard for off road vehicles came into effect in 2011. The DPF was probably installed on tractors from that point on.

kubota at least on the little L series, 2013 as "2014" models. The M108X may have been equipped prior, I trained on them but don't remember. I know they were common rail and that's what we trained on, the CRS and software to repair/diagnose.

11 was the first for off-road stuff but manufacturers were able to buy credits to extend that timeframe. Of course those credits were just passed on to the consumers in the form of price increases; which also "got everyone ready" for the rest of the stuff that was fixing to get thrown onto the engines (DPF, etc). Mahindra touted "no dpf" for several years but they were just buying credits for as long as they could.

Tier 5 is coming now. I don't know all the details yet.
