First would like to say hello to everyone, i have been looking around on the forum a while trying to soak up some info. from you all. I have been in need of a tractor for a while, and finally have been able to order one so i ordered a m7060 to take care of my property. Upon reading what some of you guys have come across in the past, i ordered it with the 12spd, and third function valve since i hope to add a grapple down the road. Am having the tires set out to match the new 6ft heavy duty hog, and also loaded the rear tires. No cast centers or anything, and no air ride seat, which could be a regret, but will add if can and need later on. Also this is open station. Anyway glad to see alot of dedicated owners, i hope to learn alot from you guys, i am sure i will have alot of questions in the future.

Congratulations on your new tractor, you are going to love it. As to the air ride seat, it really isn't as big of a deal as on the Grand L. I bought an air ride base for our M8540 a couple of years ago and haven't gotten around to installing it, was a "must have on mt L5740.

There are some great guys and gals here that are very knowledgeable about Kubota tractors.
Couple of suggestions -
1 - get a workshop manual for your tractor. It will answer many of your questions before they come up.
2 - enjoy your new machine.

Welcome to the OTT forum Hopping. We are glad that you joined us here. Congrats on the new tractor. Read, Read and read again the manual before starting out on a project. Also it would be a big help to get a Workshop Manual to be able to work on it later.
Thanks guys, will do on the shop manual....just outta curiosity...did any of you order yor tractors? And how long did it take to get them? I ordered i think 3 weeks ago and no sign of it yet..just wondering if that was normal.....i am getting ancy here.

When we bought our M8540, we were told it would take up to six weeks until delivery, we couldn't wait, so had to buy off the lot.
Well after three weeks my tractor finally came in and i got to put some seat time in on it today......and well...aside from learning how to operate it effectively i love it! Couldnt be happier with my choice. Bush hogged a lot today, and it did well for me.

Keep in mind that bush hog has a tendency to chew up items you did not intend to [emoji37]
It will like to wrap items around the blade and shaft. Such as wire that was not there the last 3 times you mowed [emoji15]
And it will eject items at hi speed and for long distances [emoji857]When mowing the roadside i stop when i see traffic approaching.
So keep a close eye out and enjoy, i think you will really like your new purchase.
