Great feedback, thanks Paul!

I think one deal breaker on the mower I was just thinking about is a few narrow areas between my trees and mulch beds that are under 72", and maybe under 60"...I'll have to measure to be sure. I don't think either of the decks have a liftable side/wing to be able to lift some of the blades off the ground to go through narrower areas. There is plenty of vertical clearance in those spots, but I don't see how I can cut those areas with these decks without partially riding them into the mulch bed. Not sure getting a smaller mower to compliment the mower deck is worthwhile either given I only have about 0.75 acres to cut. That has me leaning towards a riding mower with a smaller deck, maybe 54" or 46-48" once I take those measurements.

I'd probably still get lawn tires on the tractor to allow for doing work on/across the lawn and not risk rutting it up.

Going with a box blade in the rear, so maybe that's heavy enough to provide some ballast. Probably worth trying before going with a dedicated ballast box. The BB1260 (think that's the one to get for the 2650) is 346lbs, the ballast box is 500lbs...so fairly close.

Valve option wise, the dealer actually quoted without them to start. I was interested in them after watching some videos on using them...but to be honest, I don't think it's worth the cost for me, I'm pretty flat land and can just adjust by hand.

However, the dealer was recommending that telescopic link kit as it just made life easier and prevented the need to kick things around.

Ah more thinking to do, going through the options of how to outfit a 2650 properly!
