Mowed my lawn for the first time with my B7200E (2wd, manual gear-box). Deck is a 60" mid-mount.
The only real issue I had, was that when I first started to mow, the throtle arm kept backing down to 2,000 RPM as I was mowing. I had to mow while holding the arm in place to keep the RPM at the 2,400 range (where the line for "PTO" is on the tach).
After about 15 or so minutes, the throttle arm would stay, almost like some of the tolerances are out, and once warm, they did what they should.
Is there a way to "tighten" the resistance on the throttle arm to keep it in place? I hope I'm explaining this well enough.
One other issue I have (seperate from mowing) is that after my dad washed the tractor, he said the head lights would stay on, regardless of the switch position. The tail lights do not stay on.
As of right now, the headlights are disconnected (will drain battery), but the tail lights are connected, and work fine (turn on and off with switch).
Since the tail lights work fine, I'd assume it is something with the head lights or the wiring. I would think the switch is okay if the tail lights are working fine.
Thoughts?
