Does anyone know where to get some wheel weights for a G5200? I am having a hard time finding wheel weights. If nobody knows where to get some, should I give up on looking and just put fluid in the rear tires?

You plan on removing these hard to find weights often?

IF not - I would place ballast in the tires.

In those tires - you will be able to get about 7 gallons per tire - so you are looking at 50+ pounds per side.

It is hard to find those old garden tractor wheel weights. They are rare, and unlike john Deere, it doesn't seem like they have had the demand for reproduction. Its easier to find newer wheels, and weights that work, and paint to match. Dont know how much you care about looks, but you could cast concrete pretty easily, and cheap with hardware in the cast. You can pretty them up with paint and a grinder cup can smooth them out.

I saw a post one time where someone welded a bracket with a post that mounted to the wheel lug nuts. Then they slid weight lifting weights on the post. Pretty slick. Those weights are readily available and pretty cheap.

Yes I am planning on removing the weights often.
I have 600lb or so of wheel weights on the MX with cab and have no intention of removing them. Why do you need/want to remove them often? Certainly not saying that you shouldn't, but I'm interested in your specific situation that requires you to do that. Is it to reduce rutting while mowing or similar?

Start looking at garden tractor repair shops. Especially those that have a backyard full of old machines. Also, put a wanted ad on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.

The weights I have on my G5200 are the same rear wheel weights that I have on my BX2380, they are just 12" wheels.

I am going to use them during the winter months when I use the snow blower or the snow pusher. I realize that it's a bit late in the season to be asking on where to find some but I have been looking since mid summer of last year.

I made a slipon buckety frame for the back of my snowrider, and loaded steel plates into it 'as required'. It saved me the hassle of bolting/unbolting wheel weights.
Might be another option for you to consider ?
