Hello all, well i finally got my Kubota L285 all put back togther after repainting the whole thing. Yesterday i hooked up the brush hog and was doing a little mowing when i noticed a liquid coming from around the shifter??? Whats wrong here? I had to put up the tractor for the night and will be home later today. Any ideas?

Hi tx. Just an idea. Check the trani vent it should be under or behind the seat. There are different types on my B7200 it was under the top of the top link bracket. On my B8200 it just looks like a bent over bolt on top of the rear diff. If that vent is plugged it can cause such things. Hope this helps. Some one will be along that knows your tractor a lot better than me.:D Dusty

I agree w/ Dusty, those plugged vents will cause funny things to happen, even cause an engine valve cover to leak when it never did before. Vents on transmissions, engines, & fuel tanks are favorite places for mud daubers to build their nests. Let us know what you find out.
