Is anyone aware of a SS drop in fuel tank filter like the one being used on the BX tractors. Tank opening is 1 3/4". Interested in better filtering the fuel when filling.
Filter for MX 5100 fuel tank inlet.

I think the insert for a L185 will fit. It is plastic, not SSt but is a good screen filter. It does slow down how fast fuel can get poured in. Here are some pictures showing the size which match what you need but may be the same instead of smaller. Part number is in another post below.

The overall length is under 3 inches. From the mounting surface to the bottom is a little under 2.75 inches.
