Filling in area with 100 yards of fill

Moved firewood than added another 4 tri axle loads of fill. Next cover with topsoil. Weather has been wonderful for New England. Ole 34 year old bota burning some fuel this week.
Put 100 hours on it so far. Still only 300 hours .

Wife did the firewood deal. She saw a neighbor do it so she had to try. It dried out well. The other 6-7 cord is under the deck by walk out basement.

Just a little bit more before cold sets in. Old 34 year old b2150 runs like new. Doing lots of work. Don’t even use the s250 bobcat now.

Why is the skid-steer second fiddle?

A few years back I got an old skid steer and went through the whole thing. I replaced the Perkins engine with a Kubota, rebuilt all the cylinders, everything. then never ran it more then half an hour before I sold it. Too claustrophobic to set in there, and didn't like the foot pedals!

The bobcat gets relocated in winter to a job doing snow removal. The tractor just seems more versatile. I have no problems running the skid steers after 40 years in many different ones[/QUOTE]
