I have made 100 calls and noone can tell me what kind of cylinder this guy uses for his powersteering attached , I need this push pull cylinder , Can anyone tell me what its called and where i can find one ...Click on the link to see pics of it

Ok , I got it posted correctly , the cylinder they r using in the pic , that is what I'm looking for , if anyone knows where , or even a part # let me know , the tractor is a l245dt , thanks

No. Double-action cylinder is what you want.....pushes and pulls.

What you are looking at is a cylinder with a valve on it. This is power steering assist......not a true power steering in my view.

Does ur linkage hook into this some way , Cause if not how would it no where u need the power if I use this push pull cylinder . Also can u give me a link of what size and kind u would think i need to purchase , Thanks

Also i tried going to tractorpowersteering.com , And it appears this guy is out of bussiness again , Cause his website redirects to ...Arvig ( its all here ) .. I also left messages on V.M

Same system was used on many old Massey Ferg. and some Ford tractors. Do a Google image search for "power assisted tractor steering", you can follow the image links to the home sites for info and pricing.
