Remove the boom and take it to a hydraulic repair shop. My tractor after 300 hrs., the boom was dropping, Mesicks wanted $500 for 2- 7 seal kits, I was unable to break the ram open even with a 3" pipe wrench, The shop got them open and 4 sets of aftermarket seals for $400. I rebuilt them myself with no problem.

Two weeks ago I rebuilt the lift cylinder (the long one) on a Westindorf loader. I removed the cyl. finally got the end off and removed the ram. Took ram to local hyd repair shop. He installed all the components, seals, wipers, etc. and handed it to me while I visited with him.... $17. Glad I live where I do!!

Is there a different serial number for the loader or are you referring to the number on the cylinder itself? I took a picture of the numbers on the cylinder but need to get a better one some letters are not clear enough to be sure what they are.

Sorry but I posted the wrong info on my original post. The loader is a LA302-1 not a 272. (even tho the papers where I bought it says 272). The serial number on the loader is 58565. The cylinder shows 75536-03111. Thanks for all your help.
