I own a L345DT that has a L1720 FEL. I had posted on here awhile back about issues with the loader after changing fluids in the tractor. Well after several mechanic no shows. I started tearing into it myself. What I found was a double sprocket set up with a double rowed chain. The chain was broken and kind of seized up.

I went to the shop and was told they could get the chain at the price of about $18. They said my chain was probably the original. They called back a short while later saying the part maybe discontinued. They are looking into other distributors.

My question is does anyone know a place to get parts for older tractors. It's a 1981 tractor.

The chain might not be unique to Kubota. That type of coupling has been used in many different applications for many years. Take it to a farm / industrial supply store and see if they can match it up for you.

I know that Grainger and McMaster Carr sell it in 10 foot boxes. I am pretty sure that Tractor Supply sells a cheap version.

Here is an example.

It comes in different sizes so you may need to figure that out. It is fairly straight forward to measure pin to pin and figure out what size it is (assuming it is a standard chain size). You can get that information on the internet so I won't try to explain here.

Is this the kind your talking about?
There are a lot of different distributors of these type of couplings.
Look at the teeth of yours and make sure they are not worn to heavily, if they are replace the entire coupling not just the chain.
