Congrats Skeets. I have an older P225 (stamped "Made in W. Germany"). I wouldn't want to lug around a 1911 either. Love Sigs!

Shot a 226 a while back, first trigger pull is ugly - 2 -17 are much better.....

Sig is great gun - not the best in the trigger department, along with the famous glocks..:D:)

Walther in my opinion has THE best trigger out of the box of any gun manu.

I carry a Glock 19 Gen-2 and the wife carries a 19 Gen-4.

Not a big pistol nut but I like long guns, rifles, and bows.

Favorite long gun is a Remington 1100, I feel anything flying that is within 30 yds and below tree top high it is for dinner. Her and I go back to 1986 when I was sixteen.

FedEx, yes they just dropped of my Christmas present..........Sneak peak wife off today but away for a while a new pelican 45 wheeled cooler.

And the 2 new tires and tubes for my Little Wonder blower so I can get back to blowing leaves, the tires on it plum wore out. Tubes leaking, cuts in tires, dry rotted, just time for new ones.

Nice, I need to get a look at the 320.

Current EDC is Sig P938. Awesome little shooter. If you're into 1911's without the weight, check out the Ruger SR1911 lightweight commander...another fav of mine and winter carries easily when you want something a little more "fun".

Skeets, with your thread title, I thought you were going to B*** about Fedex. Around here, they could care less about care of your parcel and basically just heave it onto your doorstep.

My first thoughts as well :D Was gonna lambaste them for shipping a part for my dishwasher from Ohio to Mississippi, then instead of Arkasas, it went to Tampa Florida  Sat in Florida for a week, then got shipped to Mississippi, then Arkansas

I got a Springfield Armory XDS in .45 while back. Probably one of the smaller .45's you can get.

I'm left handed - had to keep that in mind when looking - XDS seemed to work for me.

For EDC, really like the single stack. Extended mag is good for practice - better for bigger hands touchin' off the .45.

In New Yorkistan, we have to abide by Lord Vader's (translation Gov. Cuomo) SAFE ACT, which limits mag size to 7, so that works too.

My EDC is an XDS in .45 as well. Occasionally swap it out with the Ruger SR9C. Both great guns. Used to hace a Sig P238. Girlfriend has the P938. Both those are sweet pieces.

Skeetz, what did you have done to your Sig?

I too am left handed....right frame of mind!:D

Another reason I like those Walther's and Ruger's, PPQ and SR series respectively. Slide release on both sides and mag release switchable.
The again - anything that shoots, I can shoot it without bitch'n about how the slide releases or mags drop! Even a wheel gun - you learn to speed load it bassackwards!:D

I have shot the ol European paddle release - those the lefties should like.......I found it awkward to do - then again once you get used to one way, switching can be tough;) (think brake pedal on left or right)
