If it was never packed why is that on FedEx?
Its not on FedEx and I never said it was. Did you read post #15 ???

FedEx mis-routed the next day parcel. Messicks screwed up the contents.

FedEx fixed their error with a special same day delivery for which I gave them credit. Messicks yawned and shipped another next day parcel. Tomorrow will tell the tale on it.

They blindly follow the GPS. My own street, the houses and numbers are not in sequence. When I first moved here, the GPS id'd my place as one 1/2 mile away.Fortunately, the driver do read the house numbers.
All the delivery services occasionally screw up. I've gotten used to it and instead, am amazed when on time or early.
Yep. A few months ago, a food delivery came to my house. When I asked the guy what address he was looking for, he didn't have one. He 'must have miscounted houses'.

Sadly those delivery people are told to adhere to their GPS. But GPS is usually wrong as you get very granular to an exact address. I don't think my GPS (Google Maps or A Better Route Planner or WAZE) has ever been "on the nose" for an address

GPS is pretty precise. For locations in the country side it should be more than sufficient. The problem is that the GPS location various internet providers supply do not match the address.

In Ireland they came up with an individual post code for each address. Despite the flaw in the system that it requires continuous maintenance (new houses) the GPS position obtained is spot on.

I get my neighbors food all the time and the druvers have the house number.. We share a common lane and they drive right past his entrance with his big lighted number to my similarly numbered entrance.

Compare that to Amazon who regularly delivers in the pitch dark of night with laser accuracy. The only problem with them is the dogs raising Caine at 4AM !!!
