I agree - nice pics. I bought the same little JD as a project (needs a fair bit of work). Seeing how it CAN look gives me hope it will be worth while when I get to it.

Thanks. It's a 1967. I always liked them especially after seeing the movie " the straight story" where a guy drives one from IA to WI to patch things up with his ill brother.
I had it for about 2 years now. I got real lucky. One of my dad's customers was storing a collection for a friend and he had to get ride of them in a pinch. I got it for 400.00. I did the stereotypical things to get it running and it needed a head gasket. Unfortunately it was right after my accident so it was hard for me to work on it using a walker but it was good stress relief. Once the engine needs to be rebuilt I'll do a full restore but as of right I'm happy with it as is.
