I have a f3060, currently with snowblower attachment. It won't try to start or run on its own. I have tried every neutral safety I can think of with PTO, seat, park brake. The battery and glow plug lights on the column won't come on. They usually come on when you turn the key. I can hear the fuel pump running. It will start and run by jumping the starter nit as soon as you let off it dies. Everything else has power when you turn the key on. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks

It has an issue with the stop solenoid or stop solenoid circuit.
Start with checking all fuses.
It could also be a power to key switch issue.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where is the stop solenoid located?
Behind the Injection pump.
2 wires go to it, 1 is pull in coil, 1 wire is hold coil.
Pull in will have power on it only when it's cranking, and hold will have power anytime the key is on.

I would suggest you get the WSM for that mower before you get into it too far, as it will have the trouble shooting steps you need to take.

Study this info on the stop solenoid.
One test will tell you if the circuits supplying the solenoid are faulty, the other test will tell you if the solenoid itself is faulty.

Check fuses. There may be a 5 amp fuse which is in the run circuit for the solenoid which has blown.

Stop solenoid is good as well as the key switch and the safety switches. So far all I know is no power to the dash lights.

Found the problem yesterday and it is now fixed. I figured it would be something stupid and it was. It ended up being fuses, but the fuses that were in there still tested good. The filament in one fuse was broke but in one piece, it would be just in the right place until moved slightly. The other one still tested good and had continuity, but didn't complete the circuit and was slightly corroded. Replaced both fuses and everything is good.
