I’m in the process of buying a F2690. As I was looking for a used Quick Hitch (F5212) I noticed some have one hole in the mounting bracket while others have 2 smaller holes. These holes are used to bolt the hitch to the arms. Pictured here is a 2 hole variety. Do both fit the FSeries. Does the hitch with only one hole fit older models. Thanks for any feedback.

jes quessing here but...
if the 'arm' that has the 4 holes on it is a separate piece welded to the rest, the 4 holes ensures no matter which way it gets welded at the factory a pair of offset holes WILL line up when attaching it.

Here is an interesting comment on the wedge quick connect from Toyota . I wanted a wedge quick hitch with my purchase and they now have a new updated hitch.
You are correct in your above email. The 4 pt hitch is a better value when compared to the older 'wedge style'. The 4pt hitch does come with the 4 hoses with it, unlike the wedge.

As a bit of background, we are working towards discontinuing the wedge style hitch and within the next year or so we will only offer the 4pt style, frankly it is a better mounting overall.

A bit of reasoning for the price difference:
- The 4pt hitch is more efficient to manufacture and shares a lot of components with other hitches offered on our products (bulk manufacturing)
- We were also conscious about pricing and keeping it cost competitive, if not cheaper, than the wedge hitch to begin moving customer in this direction.

Here is the MSRP breakdown between the two. Note, some of the attachments are more expensive versus the wedge hitch as they are spec'd up. As example, the snow blades on the 4pt hitch come standard hydraulic angle.

No code has to be inserted here.
