How is that possible?

My very thirsty L6060 burns about 5 gallons in about three hours when working hard.

SDT

Burning cash to be more specific :)
This month I've used it probably 1/2 hour on our own property.
I joked with the delivery guy when it was dropped off Its the neighbor hood tractor I think only one in subdivision. lol

I don't know if this helps or not. I have a L3901 with RC1860, running at PTO speed in medium gear (HST). I mow 21 of my 34 acres. Old farm land that is basically growing 2-3' high weeds. Takes me 21 hours. That includes at least 2-3 hours of trimming around a few trees and along the outer wooded edges.

So, with a 5' blade I'm averaging an acre an hour. Plus, somewhere between 3/4 and 1 gallon of fuel an acre.
