Found #1 rod was bent from owner use of starting fluid . Replaced rod and all pistons. Found corrosion on the glow terminals ,cleaned and now work. Bleed fuel system but no fire. Could the computer be damaged. What needs to be done to replace the computer. Is it plug and play? Are there any company’s that can reflash my computer? Kubota MX 5800.

don't have that machine but......check the 'stop engine solenoid' to see IF it is working. kind of a common thing to check. If you KNOW you have fuel, hot glow plugs and the engine cranks over...that's the only thing I know that'd stop engine from snorting and coming alive.

hmm, didn't change the 'timing' at all ??

good news is there'll be 'words of wisdom' posted fairly soon.... patience.

You need to read the WSM!
And if it has computer issues your going to need a Kubota dealer to deal with the computer.

Check the rail pressure sensor

View attachment 168217
He needs to read the troubleshooting steps in the WSM and not fly blind
The part you want him to check is a $2000 part so having knowledge on how to test / check anything properly might save him a bunch of $$$$.
FYI: You can't just buy the sensor.
