My b1750 is rolling very slow with the recent cold snap, not enough to start it today,In fact It hardly rolls. It will only fit a small battery, one in it is rated at 425 cca,and the best I can find tops out at 500cca.is this adaquate in well below freezing temp to glow then roll a d950 engine?

It should be - keep a tender on it when not in use, that extra umph is the difference between a fully charged battery and a almost full battery.

Charge the new battery too. Most batteries will lose a little zip sitting on the shelf;)
