Engine runs smooth on idle, but dies when speed control pedal is pressed.

Another person from Alberta ***128518;.

I’d check your fuel lines, also pump and injectors . Give your fuel tank a clean as well. I was having similar issues with my d1105.

Most likely seat switch is out of adjustment, or, switch and/or wiring might be disconnected or damaged.

Other option would be a bad HST switch, but nowhere near as likely.

Thats definitely an issue with the safety switches or wiring. I just ran into the same thing on a BX25. There are 2 on the seat and 2 PTO safety switches on mine.

Switches may be fine and connectors corroded. Kubota uses really poor quality connectors. Completely open to the elements for dirt and corrosion to get in. I cant believe they are not sealed.

I would have to agree with above suggestions to check on the switches...

and also check one more thing...

Parking brake! make sure brake is off. Put it in neutral if you have to and see if it will roll. The parking brake can kill the engine when in high gear. I'm not saying this to be a smart azz, it happens to all of us. :)
