Engine rebuild kit

Hi, first time posting. I bought my grey L2202DT last fall as a project. It needs an engine rebuild. Are the aftermarket kits acceptable? If so, what website do you suggest to purchase from? I've looked at eBay and Amazon. Most parts ship from China. I would prefer to buy something made in the USA. Thanks.

If you're shopping eBay or Amazon and the parts ship from China it's because they're MADE in China. Some American vendors will sell the same parts and ship from California, New York, or whatever. They will mark them up because they are buying them, having them shipped, and then selling to you. You may be unable to find USA made parts for your tractor. The replacement starter for my Mitsubishi came from Mexico. It's an international economy.

That's a Japanese tractor, they don't have USA made parts for it, OEM parts are made in Japan, and yes some parts are even OEM and made in China, and may other places.
