Engine Oil Reccomendation for F2100

I have an F2100 and it calls for 30 oil. I was wondering if it would be okay to use Rotella T 15W40. I know a lot of manufactures have changed their oil viscosity recommendations since manufacturing and wondered if anyone knows if it changed for the F2100.
I will be running it primarily in the winter as a snow blower...

I suggest Shell Rotella T6 in either 5W-40 or 0W-40.

After much research And review of recommended oil in owners manuals I standardized on using Mobil Oil Delvac Extreme 10W-30 Synthetic Blend Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil. Using one product over all my equipment allows me to buy in bulk, always have correct oil for top up if needed and have enough for any oil changes.

Mobile Delvac Extreme 10W-30 is $18.99 / gal at www.speedway motors, free delivery for orders over $99 and I don’t have to drive to the store. I think any good premium oil will do the job as long as it’s changed regularly.

For the original poster the question was what grade to use, all of my operation manuals recommend 10w-30 or at least 30 weight oil but varieties based on operating environment. If using Shell Rotella T6 I support the 5w-40 recommendation made above.

OP also posted mainly winter use in Ontario.
Full synthetic would definitely be a benefit due to quicker flow and easier cranking.

I run Rotella T-6 5-40 in my gas truck, UTV, Motorcycle, 4 stroke dirt bike both in engine and transmission, my sons 2 stroke dirt bikes transmission, and lawn mower.....oh yea and pressure washer. The only motor I own that I don’t run it in is my wife’s 2018 Mini Van which calls for 0-20. Been running it many years with no Engine problems, or transmission problems in the dirt bikes. It’s good stuff that’s cheap and easy to find.

Thanks everyone...my thoughts for the T5 15w 40 was that I run it in my 580 Case and my 53 GMC truck. As UpNorthMI mentioned, I was thinking buying bulk. I could change the other two to the T6 5w 40 but the price up here is crazy. It's on right now in my area for $50.99 for 5 liters which is just over a gallon. But, I do like the idea of easier starting and better flow in the winter. I could use up what I currently have in the old truck, it never runs in the cold anyway. As for the Mobile Delvac, have never seen that here but I will have a better look around.
