Engaging PTO

Can someone tell the RPM sweet-spot to engage the PTO on a L3000F? Tks

Not sure about a sweet spot but I engage PTO at idle and then bring up to full rpm after the implement is spinning. For shutdown I return to idle, let the implement settle down then disengage PTO

Its what my dealer told me to do.

Read your Owner’s Manual:

Even easing off the clutch, the PTO implement seems to start abruptly enough while in idle. At speed would make me rather nervous.

As low as you can go without running risk of the machine dying. Every machine and implement is different. Example is a spreader wont take much to start spinning, and could easily start at idle. A heavy brush hog may actually kill the engine if you start it at idle.
