the wire that goes back to the hazard and blinker/brake lights is broke right before the male connector (going to brake and blinker lights). I looked up part number and am finding a hard time finding that one wire and not the entire shabang (which isn't cheap)....anyone have suggestions. Sorry this isn't my forte!

In this case a repair can be done. Any wire needed can be bought at an auto parts store.
If the break is too close to the connector, only a pin needs replacing, not the entire connector.
If you don't want to tackle this, then look for a good RV, ag, or marine place that has a good wiring person.
I suggest getting your posts up to 5. Then take pictures with scale so that the connector and its pins can be identified. Then we can decide the best way to repair.

OK, what I would like to see is the two connectors mated, an end view of each connector, and caliper to pin diameters or width, and center to center spacing.
If you don't care about a restoration fix, then for that one conductor we could just bypass the connector and add another.
There may be two guys in your neck of the woods who might be able to help you crimp or solder. If it heads that direction I can private message you their names.

Yeah we fight this too often too. I've got a 3940 that's got a rat or squirrel eaten wire, ate the wire off right at the connector. Only way to get the connector from Kubota is the entire harness and of course not only is it expensive, it's also labor-intensive to R&R. There was talk at one time of them potentially offering some (or all?) of the connectors individually for the skid-steer's but I haven't heard anything else about it. You may benefit by asking the dealer to call their divisional office and asking them to inquire about it. I am going to do this as well.
