Hi Folks,

Have a L3130

I'm installing a 3rd function valve and the kit suggest going directly to the battery. I'd like to only have power when the ignition is on. Any tips on going in and finding a suitable place to connect for post ignition power?

I'm guessing I'll need to sniff around the fuse panel but I'd hate to mess anything up.

Larry,
Not familiar with your L but, if you have a WSM, you should be able to find an 'ignition on' circuit. On my BX, I pulled 'ignition on' power from the rear worklight circuit for a contactor solenoid that supplies my aux power (grapple and cab electronics). Hope this helps.
Regards.

hmm, what's interesting is that my BX23S, according to the fuzzy diagram HAS a '3rd function' fuse, wiring and conector !!
Maybe, under the dash, you'll find yours ? Or, a female bullet connector, wrapped in blue tape.
I figured out blue tape is used to show location for power feed wiring for 'optional' devices..... 3rd fnx, lights, etc. I'll also assume there's only ONE wiring harness for a tractor series,so options can easily be installed at dealers later on... ?

Looks to me that the L3130 has a worklight conductor that is fused and keyed. Yellow conductor, perhaps check under the left rear fender for a taped connector. Could splice off that line, or splice back at the fuse block.

Would not follow instructions to run directly to battery.
