I bought a 2006 Kubota RTV 900 with electrical issues. It runs great, but they had disconnected the cable from the alternator post and when I tried to connect it back it blew the 60 amp slow blow fuse. Thinking it was the alternator I replaced it with a new alternator and the same thing keeps happening. Using a voltmeter it shows that the alternator post is negative. If you connect the voltmeter to the post of the alternator and to the positive of the battery it shows the volts of the battery instead of zeroing out. Can someone give me some direction or tell me maybe what's going on? Thank you so much for your help.
