I have a B2650 with a 3rd function valve. I have not used the 3rd function valve since new as I didn’t have a use for a 3rd function but I found a landpride grapple that I want to buy and use. The push button is not lighting up and there is no pressure in the hydraulic lines. I don’t think the push button switch is working. Has anyone experience this issue? Does anyone have an electrical diagram for the 3rd function valve?

Thanks,
Mike

There's a few threads here on OTT with troubles with the small switches in the control handle going bad. I looked at my manuals for both my Summit kit and the Land Pride 3rd function and neither has an electrical schematic per se. If you'd like I could send them to you (PDF files) in an email.

On my Summit kit, the actual relays have an indicator bulb inside each control relay that lights up when that relays control button is pressed. I'm guessing yours might also. That would tell you if you're getting power to the relays or not. It really is a simple circuit.....just power to the control switches that send it to the appropriate control relay when the button is pressed......as long as your control circuit is wired hot all the time......or if the key is on if wired that way.

A search for that other thread should find it.

Edit: Here's one of the threads: 3rd Function not working - L2501 | OrangeTractorTalks - Everything Kubota

Found it: B2601 3rd function switch repair | OrangeTractorTalks - Everything Kubota

Hopefully some of the info in those threads might steer you in the right direction. I'm betting B737's
post in the 2nd link above may be your problem also.

Mine is a land pride third function installed by the dealer, it is hot all the time, and you can hear the clicks, and there is little green arrows that light up when you press the buttons.

If you have been mowing brush or working in the woods look under tractor for unplugged electrical connectors. Also look for a blown fuse.
