There are quite a few video's showing that on YouTube now, I looked at it while attending the NFMS (National Farm Machinery Show) a few weeks ago, I personally think it's overpriced at $2000 for what it is. You can get into small economy grapple for about the same money including the 3rd function hydraulics.

Yeah, I didn't catch the price. They would need to get better than that. Especially since it's a one trick pony and third function can be used on other implements.

I think over priced also. Has 1000lb pressure which a good bit lower than hydraulic I think. I think it's a great alternative, but maybe $1400? They should have a bolt on version.

+3 on that. I think they are a bit over priced as well but a good alternative to investing in a 3rd function setup and clamping force is a bit on the puny side but then linear actuators don't develop a lot of clamping power anyway.

Would be fine for general cleanup but not good fir say a tree trunk.

While I can get a 2000# LinAct for $300 Canucks, it's slow, like most. so 1/3rd the $2K may be JUST the LinAct. Thing draw 25Amps ,so a real good battery and alternator is a MUST.

I don't know what they put in the Bx for a battery or alternator, but there isn't much in my L (45 amps I think). So, yeah, they don't seem to do these tractors up like trucks where you can add all sorts of electric doo dads.

Yep 45 amp. The M series cab's are 60. That isn't an excessive amount of capacity by a long shot.

If I'm reading the info correctly, my Grand L3560 has 60 Amp system.

I think it is a really good idea...
Not that expensive compared to many options. More than powerful enough for most small tractor sizes and applications..

If you have a bigger need, or bigger equipment, this is not for you.. That simple.

What I would look closer into is if, when they make a version that will bolt onto a set of pallet forks... That would be cheaper, better use of an on hand attachment..

My 5 cents of opinion..

This is the route I went with the Green Thumb.
I already had the hydraulics to run it, but even if one had to add 3rd function or a remote, it would be a cheaper, stronger option.

I was a little surprised at this line in the description:

Engineered for Sub-Compact tractors up to 32-hp with a front end loader.

He means "Green's Machine", the "Thumb".

Just ordered 2 actually. One for the spare bucket I have and another to mount on my skid forks which I tend to use more for moving branches and stuff around. Nice and very reasonable price wise. I got long ones for the bucket so I can tote round bales too, though I mostly spear them from the ends to load them.

Shipping isn't unreasonable either.

Danannah@gmail has a solution for your pin on bucket issues.
This video is not Dan, but Dan made a set of these for me and SOLVED my pin-on issues of switching implements.
