Nope, but there's a pretty varied selection of ammo for it:I hear ya wondering had you ever loaded .58 ball in that thing
Same thing here in MA, and those suckers are pretty arrogant, and don't run from noise either.I have the same problems as everyone else, but My main problems are Turkeys. Here is a pick of some last early fall before they migrated to My Garden.
When I was researching blowguns, I ran across a couple of "survivalist" forums, and I found a thread on taking game up to & including deer with the dart in pic #2, (eyeshot) and wing shooting partridge with the fletchette setup in pic #4, using six flechettes for a shotgun effect.Good Lord,, and a shot of curare and your ready for anything,,,lol
They call it a stun dart, but I've killed pigeons with it across the yard, and at 30ft or so it will usually blow through both sides of a heavy cardboard box. It has a crossed groove arrangement on the nose to make it "stick" and transfer all it's energy to the target rather than glancing off as a plain round nose would…. it hits hard! What is #3 for, looks like it could just give something a wicked headache.
I get almost the same effect with a 12ga loaded with 00buck.
